Myers Flat is surrounded by Humboldt Redwoods Park and Rockefeller Forest, the largest stand of uncut, publicly-owned old-growth redwoods in the world! Along with that Myers Flat sits in the middle of "The Avenue of the giants", where the redwoods tower high overhead. The North fork of the Eel river is a popular place to swim, sunbathe, and enjoy personal jet boat tours of the river.
