Cathy MacMullin has over 30 years of real estate experience. She became a real estate licensee in 1978 and a real estate broker in 1990. She joined Forbes & Associates in 1987; enjoyed 8 years with Forbes before becoming an independent broker and owner of American Property Management. She sold her property management business in 2007 to her employees, enjoyed retirement for three years, found that she missed working in the real estate profession and returned to Forbes & Associates in January 2010.
She is a member of the Humboldt, California and National Association of Realtors, a member of the California Apartment Association, a past chairperson of the Humboldt County Professional Standards Committee, a founding member of the National Association of Realtors Property Management Section and, has been appointed as a Receiver (Superior Court appointed position) on two occasions. Additionally, through her management experience of residential properties she has been retained by local attorneys as an expert witness on several occasions.
